Chandni Narvekar leads all things Yoga at niu!

Whether you're joining us for a yoga retreat, 121 tuition, or online sessions Chandni will advise on the best practice for you.

Chandni’s style of teaching focuses on breath, body awareness and being present. Her approach is to combine the latest research in movement science with the wisdom of traditional yoga.

Keeping that in mind, she offers modifications for postures and tailors the teaching depending on the group or individual she is working with. 

​

Yoga has been an integral part of Chandni’s life. Growing up in India, the principles and practise of yoga were present all around her, whether it was doing asanas (postures) or learning to chant in Sanskrit and Hindi. After moving to America, Chandni started practising Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow yoga. Over the years she has continued her learning and brings her diverse experience of practising yoga in India, the US and the UK to our clients at niu today

​

Before becoming a full-time yoga teacher Chandni was a change management consultant, working in New York City. She also studied and taught psychology. This means that as well as leading our Yoga department, she also co-hosts retreats and can support you on a number of personal development levels.
